Feb.1966 Ft. Dix , Kevin paid me an unexpected to say the least, but very welcome visit. I was going through the hardships of basic training. Then Kevin showed up , a locked and loaded paratrooper, black beret and all. My fellow trainees were in awe of Kevin. He was passing through Dix on his way to Vietnam. He lifted my spirits when I needed it most. I will never forget that. Rest in peace old friend
