I am beside myself with grief for my friend who I spent so much time walking the lake in Wakefield's, going to lunch and movies as retirees. We had so many laughs and talks about everyday life. We met at Hale & Dorr in 1983 and stayed friends all the years since. We had so much fun working in Town, we had a great group of friends. During our walks I learned so much about Karen’s family who she was so proud. Her daughter Dawn in New Jersey was so kind and generous, she enjoyed every trip to New Jersey and was so proud of all her accomplishments. She talked so loving of her granddaughter and son-in-law. She talked with the same love and pride about her daughter Loren and her family who she lived with in a great in-law apartment. She enjoyed spending so much time with her daughter and family. She had many loving stories of her grandchildren Lola and Luke. Rest in peace Karen, I will miss you and all the laughs!
I will miss painting together...long talks...your million questions...drinking tea...laughing...your antics...above all I'll miss you, my friend. I'll also miss making sure you give me a hug and kiss (much to your chagrin)! No doubt, you are 'kw'ing' already! Hasta el cielo, my friend.
