Luigi “Louie” Limonciello passed away surrounded by his family at his home on Friday evening, June 23, 2006. The husband of Maria A. (Gallo) he was 69 years old. Louie was born in Paolisi Italy. He was the son of the late Tommaso and Tommasina Limonciello. Louis was raised and educated in Italy. He moved to the United States when he was in his late teens. He met his wife Maria in 1965 while he was vacationing in Italy. They settled in Burlington where they raised their two sons. Louie was employed as a welder at Advance Vacuum Systems in Ayer for 25 years. Louie was a former member of the South End Italian club. He was an avid bowler and belonged to the South End Italian Club Bowling League for many years. Louie was known as “The man who can fix anything”. He always had his toolbox out and was constantly working on a project whether it be at his home in Burlington or one of his sons homes. There wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for his two sons and their families. Louie also enjoyed gardening and was especially proud of his tomato plants. His family was most important to him and he treasured the many special times he spent with his wife, his sons, and his grandchildren. He had been blessed with the birth of his first grandson Mason born just three days ago. Louie is the beloved husband of Maria A. (Gallo). He is the loving father of Thomas & his wife Lisa of Waltham and Marc & his wife Allison of Dracut. He is the brother of Chris Falardau of Billerica, Angela Demers of Woburn, Pat Limonciello of Billerica, and Joe Limonciello of Woburn. He is the grandfather of Sophia, Ava & Mason Limonciello, and Loren Sullivan. Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., Burlington (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Tuesday, June 27 at 10 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret’s Church, 111 Winn St., Burlington at 11 a.m. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 p.m. Interment will be private.
