They lived in Burlington together, where they raised their family and in later years moved to Tewksbury.

Pat had a close relationship with her son, Bruce.  She was a loving and supportive mother who would do anything for her son.  After her husband Ed passed away, she lived with Bruce and his family. Living with her son gave Pat the ability to see her grandsons, Brian and Chris, daily.  She was an important part of their lives and upbringing. She was incredibly proud to see them both serve their country in the United States Marine Corps. As a family Pat, Ed, Bruce, and the boys would take annual trips to Aruba together. They enjoyed summer vacations in Maine at both York Beach and Wells.  Pat was overjoyed with the birth of her two great grandchildren Michael in 2015 and Hailee in 2017. They both made her life so precious.

Pat was a strong and independent woman.  She was full of energy and led a very active life. She had an outgoing and generous personality. Pat made friendships wherever she went. Pat and Ed were longtime members of the Woburn Elks.  She enjoyed playing bingo, going line dancing and was a member of the Red Hat Society in Tewksbury.  She had a group of friends who affectionately called themselves the “The Domino Pals”. They enjoyed playing domino’s and going to lunch.  Pat was also active in the Tewksbury Senior Center where she participated in their activities and trips.

As Pat faced health challenges in recent years, her son Bruce lovingly took care of her.  He was constantly by her side and made sure she did not wait for anything.

Pat was the beloved wife of the late Edmund J. McNamara. She was the loving and proud mother of Bruce Adams of Tewksbury (retired Massachusetts State Police).  Pat was the proud grandmother of Brian Adams of Tewksbury and Christopher Adams & his wife, Jeanelle, of Chelmsford.  She was the cherished great grandmother of Michael & Hailee.  Pat was the sister of the late Jean Esty and Liz, James, Kenneth, Richard & Robert Walsh.  She was the devoted friend of Maryann & James Locke of Pelham, New Hampshire and their children Crystal, Kelley & Jimmy and the Pelrine family; Paula, Stephen, Matt and Mike.
