Obituary of Elizabeth Lowe

Elizabeth M. “Betty” Lowe passed away suddenly at her home on Wednesday morning, March 1, 2006. She was 73 years old. Mrs. Lowe was born in Boston, the daughter of the late Francis and Elizabeth Stoltz. She grew up in Boston. She had made her home in Burlington for 32 years. She raised her 4 children in Burlington. For the last 10 years she has resided in Billerica with her daughter, Nancy’s family. Mrs. Lowe had a number of occupations and interests. She worked for 25 years as a supervisor for Sylvania. She had worked for many years as a waitress at the Colonial Hilton. In recent years she had worked as a clerk at the Market Basket in Billerica. She enjoyed traveling and going on cruises with her family and friends. She had many “Bingo Friends”. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who will be sadly missed. Mrs. Lowe is the beloved wife of the late Emory W. Lowe. She is the loving mother of Nancy & her husband Chris Conley of Billerica, Edward of Billerica, Elizabeth & her husband Barry Currier of Amherst, NH, and James & his wife Maura of Burlington. She is the sister of Joseph Stoltz of Andover and the late Margaret Ankney. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Monday, March 6 at 9 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret’s Church, 111 Winn St., Burlington at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Sunday 3-7 p.m. Interment in Pine Haven Cemetery, Burlington.
