Obituary of Jeannine DiLorenzo

Jeannine A. DiLorenzo passed away unexpectedly at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington on Wednesday morning, February 15, 2006. She was 76 years old. Mrs. DiLorenzo was born in North Reading, the daughter of Canadian immigrants, the late Phillip and Flora Geddes. She worked as a technician for almost 30 years at Sylvania and Alpha Industries. She had lived in Billerica with her daughter, Ruthann and her family for the past 12 years. She had previously resided in Burlington for 34 years. Mrs. DiLorenzo had a number of interests. She enjoyed reading. She loved the ocean and beach, particularly York, Maine. She liked to crochet, especially afghans, which she made with love for all her family. Mrs. DiLorenzo is the beloved wife of the late Antimo “Andy” DiLorenzo. She is the loving mother of Ruthann & her husband Tom Carter of Billerica, Kathy & her husband Roland Plosser of Switzerland, and Nancy & her husband Stephen Dinelli of Reading. She is the sister of Louise McDade of Danvers, Ruth Bancroft of Reading, Marilyn Bosteels of Hudson, NH, Carolyn Doucette of Londonderry, NH, and the late Phyllis Crosby. She is the grandmother of Kevin & his wife Karyn Carter of Tewksbury, Wendy & her husband Greg Ferraro of Dracut, and Nicole & her husband Markus Kipfer of Switzerland. She also leaves her canine friend, Tara. Funeral services will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Saturday, February 18 at 11 a.m. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 p.m. Interment in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Burlington.
