Obituary of Lloyd Pease

Lloyd C. Pease, a retired engineer, passed away after a long battle with cancer on Tuesday morning at his home surrounded by his family. Lloyd was born in Randolph, the son of the late Clarence and Catherine Pease. He grew up and was educated in Cambridge. He served in the Air Force, and was stationed in Morocco. He spent three years as an Air Traffic Controller at Luke AFB, Phoenix, AZ. Lloyd worked as an engineer, and retired in 1997 from Malden Mills where he designed machinery for the Flock Division. He also worked at General Tire, Bixby International. and Raytheon. Lloyd took great pride in his sons accomplishments, and was active in the start up of the Tewksbury Youth Hockey Assn. and served a term as president. He cherished the time spent with his grandchildren and attending their various activities. Lloyd loved the outdoors and was an avid golfer. He was a member of the Butterbrook Golf Club in Westford. He enjoyed traveling with his wife Maureen especially his winter vacations. However, what Lloyd will be remembered for most is love of his family, and how he lived his life with wit and humor much to the delight of his cherished grandchildren, family and dear friends. He will be sadly missed. Lloyd was the beloved husband of Maureen J. (Desmond) Pease. He was the loving father of Mark & his wife Andrea of Burlington and Stephen & his wife Maria of Topsfield. He was the devoted grandfather of Craig & Cory of Burlington, and Alexandra, Stephen, and Nicholas of Topsfield and brother of Shirley Pease of Hudson NH, Lawrence Pease of Billerica, the late Mary Bush, Bernice Hoopaugh, William Pease, and Dorothea Mueller. Lloyd was also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Friday, July 27 at 8:45 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Catherine’s of Alexandria Catholic Church in Westford at 10 a.m. Visiting hours on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. Interment in St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Westford.
