Obituary of Arthur Ewing

Arthur H. Ewing, a resident of Burlington for the past six years, passed away at the Winchester Hospital on Friday, January 18, 2008. The husband of the late Genevive (Beaubein), he was 82 years old. Arthur was born in Boston. He was the son of the late Henry and Margaret Ewing. He was raised and educated in Dorchester. Arthur was employed for over 20 years in the Maintenance Department of the Boston Fire Department retiring at the age of 52. After his retirement he moved to Hollywood Florida, while living in Florida he was able to enjoy his passion for Golfing. He would go out daily with his many friends for a round of golf. Arthur moved to Burlington six years ago to live with his sister Kay and be closer to his family. Arthur is the beloved husband of the late Genevive (Beaubein). Arthur was the loving brother of Mary Westholm of Bedford, NH, Margaret Russell of Billerica, Marion Cataldo of Weymouth, Catherine Russell of Burlington, Francis of Lynn, and the late Harry and Robert. Arthur is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt.128, Woburn side) on Tuesday, Jan. 22 at 9 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret’s Church, 111 Winn St., Burlington at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Monday 4-7 p.m. Interment in New Calvary Cemetery, Boston.
