Obituary of William Smithell

William C. Smithell, a resident of Woburn for 52 years, passed away at the Life Care Center of Merrimack Valley in Billerica on Thursday, April 10, 2008. The husband of RoseAnn (Paicopoulos), he was 97 years old. William was born in Lynn. He was the son of the late Charles and Margaret Smithell. He was raised and educated in Haverhill. William and his wife moved to Woburn in 1953. He was employed as a Salesman for Royal Furniture in Woburn for over 40 years. William was a member of the Towanda Club and the Sons of Italy in Woburn. He enjoyed visiting Cape Cod. He also enjoyed fishing and playing pool. William is the husband of RoseAnn (Paicopoulos). He is the loving father of Sandra & her husband Dave Doane of Billerica. He is the brother of the late Mary Ricardi, Peg Doherty, John Smithell and Thomas Smithell. He is the grandfather of David Doane of Lowell, Deirdre Tache of Salem and Michael Doane of Salem. Funeral Services were private.
