Obituary of Janet Littlewood

Janet Rose Littlewood, a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on Tuesday, June 3, 208. She was 68 years old. Janet was born in Boston. She was the daughter of Irish Immigrants the late John and Margaret Larkin. She was raised and educated in Dorchester. She lived in Woburn for many years were she raised her six children. She had resided in Melrose for the past 5 years. She worked as a Clerk for the Department of Social Services for 20 years. Janet enjoyed doing crafts, shopping, and movies. She had a wonderful sense of humor and an infectious laugh. Janet’s children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were the center of her life. Janet is the beloved mother of John Seward & his wife Jacquie of Waltham, Kelley Meade & her husband John of Andover, Jeffrey Seward & his wife Kim of Billerica, Peggy Seward, Tracy Seward both of Woburn, Kim Abkarian of Wakefield, and the late William Seward. She is the sister of Walter Larkin of CA, Kathleen Cronin of Burlington, William Larkin of ME, Robert Larkin of CA, and the late Margaret Conroy and Mary “Maureen” Gallant. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Friday, June 6 at 8:00 p.m. Visiting hours Friday from 4-8 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
