Alice M. (Chisholm) Fields, a resident of Burlington for over 50 years, passed way at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House on Wednesday, August 4, 2006. The wife of the late Carl Fields, she was 96 years old. Alice was born in Somerville. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Gertrude Chisholm. She was raised and educated in Somerville. Alice had a long and successful career working as a Technician in the Manufacturing Industry. She worked at both Sanborn Co. and Hewlett Packard. Also enjoyed bowling and belonged to leagues over the years in both Burlington and Waltham. She loved to travel and visited many places including Florida and York, Maine. Alice’s family was extremely important to her. She was a cherished aunt to her many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. She will be deeply missed by all those who loved her. Alice is the beloved wife of the late Carl. She is the sister of Howard Chisholm of Bedford. She is predeceased by 11 brothers and sisters. She is the special aunt of Joseph Robillard & his wife Barbara of Tewksbury, Robert Robillard & his wife Linda of Townsend, Bob Chisholm & his wife Barbara of Maine, and Marilyn Chisholm of Bedford. She is also survived by many great nieces and great nephews. Funeral Services will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St. BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Monday, October 9 at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Sunday 3-6 p.m. Interment in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Burlington.
