Obituary of Antonio Perez
Antonio Manuel Perez, December 7, 1944 – August 11, 2008. Died peacefully after a sudden illness. Antonio (Tony) was born in Cuba and came into exile after the revolution in 1963. He graduated as an Electrical Engineer from Northeastern University, where he also later obtained an M.B.A. He was an avid pilot. His love for flying took him and his wife Joyce to their secluded retreat in Maine for weekends and to far away interesting sites across the nation.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years Joyce, his mother Sofia Bergasa, sisters Sofia Perez and Josefina V. Hurtado, nieces and nephews Sofia Teresa, Raul, Ernesto, Tania, Adriano, Rebeca and Alejandro and nine grand nephews and nieces.
Antonio and his wife Joyce have been Burlington residents for 38 years. Funeral Services will be private. For those who wish, contributions in Mr. Perez’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
