Obituary of Jane Richard-Clark

Jane M. (Ingle) Richard-Clark, retired Principle Clerk of the Board of Heath in Burlington, passed away at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center on Friday morning, June 19, 2009. She was 57 years old. Jane was born, raised and educated in Toledo, Ohio. She moved to Burlington in 1983. Jane was an active member of the community of Burlington. She was an elected member of the Board of Health, she then went on to become the Principal Clerk for the Board of Selectman, and then was the Principal Clerk for the Board of Health retiring after 10 years. Jane was also a columnist for the Burlington Times Union. Jane led a full and active life and had a number of interests. She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, computers, antiques and boating. She loved flowers. She was also a member of the Burlington Town Hall Bowling league for a number of years. Jane was a “sports mom” while her children were growing up attending all their hockey, basketball, and baseball games. She enjoyed spending time her grandchildren and her family. Jane was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother and friend who will be missed. Jane is the beloved wife of Raymond Clark and the late Donald Richard. She was the loving mother of Terry J. Richard & his wife Janice of Burlington and Christopher C. Richard & his wife Janine of Chelmsford. She was the daughter of Jack & Gertrude Ingle of Toledo, Ohio. She was the step-mother of Brian W. Clark of Newburyport and Melissa M. Clark of Amesbury. Loving grandmother of Abby, Isabella & Emma. Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Tuesday, June 23 at 9 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Malachy’s Church, 99 Bedford St., Burlington at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 p.m. Interment in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Burlington.
