Herbert "Herb" Haines

Herb was born in Newark, NJ and was a graduate of St. Mary's High School in Elizabeth, NJ. He joined the Navy at the age of 18 and retired after 30 years in the service. In January of 1962, he met Ernie Fernandez and became a part of the Fernandez family from that point on. Herb had a number of interests. He was gifted with a beautiful singing voice. He appeared in many musical productions and plays. He loved to entertain people and reveled in the enjoyment his talents brought them. His magnetic personality and smile always brought people together. He enjoyed word games and was an avid reader. He loved food and life. He will be sadly missed by his many friends and family.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning, June 17 at 9 a.m. at Saint Malachy's Church, 99 Bedford Street, Burlington. Interment will follow in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Burlington.
