Obituary of Paul Cassettari
Paul Cassettari, Jr. passed away at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital on Monday, July 17, 2006. The husband of Lucille (Centrella) he was 73 years old.
Paul was born, raised and educated in Somerville. He was the son of Italian immigrants the late Paolo & Lidia Cassettari. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving his country in the United States Army from 1953 – 1955. Paul was employed for over 35 years as a Truck Driver for the City of Medford Highway Department. He was a resident of Medford for 45 years and had just recently moved to Tewksbury a little over a year ago. Paul enjoyed gardening and was especially proud of his tomato plants. Paul was a man that loved his home and family. He cherished the many special times they spent together at family picnics and celebrations.
Paul is the beloved husband of Lucille (Centrella). He is the loving father of Paula of Dracut and Anthony of Gloucester. He is the brother of Frank of Medford. He is the loving grandfather of Anthony, Jr., Nicholas, Christopher, and Michael. Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Thursday, June 20 at 8:45 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Raphael’s Church, 512 High St., Medford at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 p.m. Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
