Obituary of Michael Graziano

Michael Graziano, a resident of Arlington for over 62 years, passed away at the Woburn Nursing Center, following a brief illness. The husband of the late Mary (Connors), he was 93 years old. Michael was born, raised and educated in Lexington. He was the son of Italian immigrants the late John and Mary Graziano. Michael was a veteran of World War II serving his country in the United States Navy. He was the recipient of the World War II Victory Medal and the American Area Medal. Michael and his wife settled in Arlington in 1948 where they raised their three daughters. He had a successful career as a self-employed builder. He built homes in the towns of Lexington, Winchester, Arlington and Belmont. Being self-employed gave Michael the flexibility to spend to spend his winters in Florida which he, his wife and daughters did for 47 years. He was passionate about the Red Sox. He knew all the players, the statistics and all the history of the team as well as players with other baseball teams. Michael was always sorry to see the baseball season come to a close. He was also an avid Gardner and was famous for his tomato plants which he shared with his family friends and neighbors. He also enjoyed traveling and had celebrated his 90th birthday in Las Vegas with his family. Michael was blessed to live a healthy and full 93 years that where filled with a loving family. Michael was the beloved husband of the late Mary (Connors). He was the loving father of Diane Justinger & her husband Matthew, Jean Greene & her late husband William, and Susan Miceli & her husband John all of Burlington. He was the brother of Gerald Graziano and Anna Iantosca both of Arlington and the late Katherine Smith, Anthony and Frank Graziano. Grandfather of Kimberly Marino, Tracy Sacco, William Greene, III, Brian Greene, Michael & Melissa Miceli and the late Matthew Justinger. Also survived by 5 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Tuesday Nov. 30 from 11 a.m. – 12 Noon. Followed by Funeral Services at 12 Noon. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Interment in Pine Haven Cemetery, Burlington.
