Obituary of Linda Ann Hurley

Linda Ann (Beardsley) Hurley, a woman devoted to her children, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 17, 2019. She was just 50 years old. Linda was born and raised in Bedford, where she was a 1986 graduate of Bedford High School. She went on to graduate with an Associate’s Degree from Lasell College in Newton. After college Linda got a job at Honeywell, which later became BAE Systems. Linda worked there for 30 years as an Administrative Assistant. Linda was an asset to the organization, she was organized, efficient and loved her job. Her outgoing personality made her a favorite in the office.

Linda settled in Burlington in 1992 where she would raise her two children Kelly and Justin. They were her world and she would do anything for them. She was their biggest cheerleader. Linda never missed the opportunity to cheer on her favorite pitcher, Justin. She was very proud to see him continue his baseball career with Nichols College and witness all his achievements playing the sport. Linda was very happy to see her daughter Kelly follow in her footsteps taking up figure skating. She attended all of Kelly’s ice shows and competitions. Linda was proud to see Kelly graduate from Merrimack College and start her career as an Engineer. As a family they enjoyed taking yearly vacations to North Conway and Cape Cod.

Linda was the type of person who always worried about others and put their needs before her own. She was a thoughtful and loving sister to Sharon and a devoted daughter to her parents Alan and Nancy. Linda was the loving significant other to Glenn for ten years.

With her bubbly and outgoing personality, she made many friends. She loved glitter, sparkle and keeping up with all the latest fashion trends. Her smile and outgoing personality lit up any room she walked into. Linda’s sudden and unexpected passing leaves emptiness in the hearts of all that she loved, but her warm and loving memories will live on forever.

Linda was the proud and loving mother to Kelly & Justin of Burlington. Beloved daughter of Alan & Nancy Beardsley of Bedford. Loving sister to Sharon Kailher & her husband Christopher of Rumford, RI. Aunt to Benjamin & Isabel Kailher. Significant other to Glenn Abriam of Natick. Linda is also survived by many cousins and friends. Visiting hours will be held at the Edward V Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128/95 Woburn side) on Wednesday, May 22 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, May 23 at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Shawsheen Cemetery, Bedford.
