Obituary of Elsie Frasca
Elsie C. Frasca, a wife, mother, grandmother, & great grandmother passed away on Monday morning, November 19, 2012. She was 81 years old.
Elsie was born in Boston, the daughter of Italian immigrants, the late Carrado and Virginia Avinelli. She grew up in the North End of Boston in a home full of Italian ethnicity and customs. She married Edward Frasca and they began their married life together in Medford. In 1960, they moved to Burlington to raise their 5 children. Elsie worked part time as a hostess at the Town Line, but considered herself a mother and homemaker. She was blessed to see her marry and have children and grandchildren themselves. She loved family get togethers whether it was a cookout, holiday, special event, or visits. She enjoyed traveling. Hawaii, Las Vegas, and California were some of her favorite destinations. She was always up for a trip to the casino to try her luck. She had spent the past 2 years living at the Bright View Concord River Assisted Living. She enjoyed the many activities the facility offered as well as her new group of friends.
Elsie was the beloved wife of the late Edward Frasca. She was the loving mother of Janice Hans & her husband Elliot of Brookville, MD, John Frasca & his wife Heidi of Lowell, Edward Frasca & his wife Susan of Pelham, NH, Nancy Corso of Billerica & her late husband Lenny, and Susan Moloney & her husband Tim of Methuen. She was the sister of Joan Bridge of Woburn, Dotty Tibbetts of Medford and Vilma Winn of Arlington. She was also survived by 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services were private. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Elsie’s name may be made to the American Red Cross, 193 Main St., Cambridge, MA 02142. Arrangements under the directions of the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, BURLINGTON.
