Obituary of Edward J Hynes

Edward J Hynes passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2019. He was 62 years old. Ed was born in Boston and raised in Burlington, the oldest of 6 children born to the late James Jr. and Lauretta Hynes. He was a graduate of Burlington High School, class of 1976. After high school Ed graduated from Coyne Electrical School. He worked as an electrician in the Burlington area as well as West Palm Beach, after relocating in 1994. Ed loved animals, especially dogs. He had a dog when he was a kid and was always happy to take care of his friends’ dogs throughout his life. While growing up he loved spending time with his extended family at the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. He loved to fish and boat on Lake Winnipesaukee. Ed was an avid sci-fi fan and loved astronomy. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and visiting the beaches near his home in West Palm Beach with his friends. Ed will be remembered as a loving brother, uncle, and friend. Loving brother of Denise Fleisner & her husband Paul of Derry, NH, Donna Hart & her husband Mike of Happy Valley, OR, Susan Hynes of Burlington, James Hynes & his wife Dawn of The Woodlands, TX and Pamela Pastore & her husband Ralph of Wilmington. Ed is also survived by many aunts & uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Margaret’s Church, 111 Winn St., Burlington on Saturday, January 18 at 10 a.m. Burial to follow in Pine Haven Cemetery, Burlington. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours omitted.
