My condolences to the entire family. I just heard about his passing on my recent visit to Boston to see my Dad in his final days. I have fond memories of Mr. Alfano growing up on Stephanie St. May he rest in peace.

Our condolences to Norma and,the entire family. We are so sorry we could not come to the wake to pay our respects nor attend the funeral. We came to know and love Ed when his special son married our daughter, Lisa. We enjoyed his and Norma's company at family events, holidays and at the Von Trapp Family lodge in Vermont. We always found him to be a kind and gentle soul with a great sense of humor. He always took delight when Bob called him fast Eddie. We will miss him and his sense of humor in the future at family gatherings. In our hearts we know he is in a better place in the arms of our Lord. Alice and Bob

Dear Alfano family,
So heartbroken for you all and my heartfelt condolences. I really loved Ed and was saddened to hear he had passed. He was one of my favorite family friends! I was always happy to see him as I knew he would make me laugh and make my day brighter. I have this vivid memory of him visiting my father at the rehab when my father was struggling with Lyme disease and he took away any pain my father was feeling for that short time and brought us joy and laughter. He was a true friend. I will always remember the good times we shared as family friends and will miss him dearly. RIP Ed. With deepest sympathy and love, Fran Presti

Uncle Eddie you are a kind, gentle spirit and most generous person. A gift to all of us. I will miss you.

Rest in peace dearest Uncle Eddie, your persona will always be with with us all.
You were a true bright light in this world.
Get your ears ready because there will be a lot of rubbing once you meet up
with my Dad.
Love you forever.
