Obituary of Francisco Medeiros

Francisco “Frank” Medeiros, the former proprietor of United Coach Works, passed away after an extended illness on Friday, April 21, 2023.  He was 65 years old.  

Frank was born in Praia Da Vitória on the island of Terceira in the Azores.  His family immigrated to the United States to seek a better life when he was 11 years old.  They lived in East Cambridge and later moved to Somerville. Frank later purchased a home and moved to Everett.

After initially working for others, he eventually owned his own autobody shop, United Coach Works, in Malden.  Frank took great pride in his workmanship and in helping his customers.  

After purchasing a summer home in New Hampshire, he then split his time between Everett, MA, and Effingham, NH. 

Frank was the son of the late Feligenio P. and Julia Medeiros.  He was also the brother of Feligenio S. Medeiros & his wife Edith of Woburn. He was the proud uncle of Christine (Medeiros) Sinopoli & her husband Nico of Burlington.  He was the great uncle of Bianca Sinopoli of Burlington.  

Funeral services are private.
