Obituary of Ronald Charles Enos

Ronald Charles Enos, age 69, passed away at Parkland Medical Center on Saturday, December 30, 2023 with his loving family by his side.

Born in Brookline, MA on March 15, 1954, he was a son of the late Herbert C. and Virginia E. (Chute) Enos.  Ron was a graduate of Brighton High School, Class of 1971, where he earned an automotive certificate.  Following his education, he worked as a mechanic for a few years, but it wasn’t his true passion.  With some light persuasion from his brother, Ron proudly enlisted  in the United States Army, working in intelligence.  He served his country honorably for 13 years, and in that time he was stationed at various places such as, Ft. Knox, Texas, Georgia, Germany, Korea, and Ft. Bragg.

In his free time, Ron loved watching the History Channel, keeping up with the Red Sox, and the Heartland Series.  He also loved getting to spend holidays and gatherings with his brothers playing cribbage, and taking full advantage of his mother’s magnificent cooking.  Above everything though, Ron loved his family, especially his grandchildren.  They were truly the light of his life, and the tremendous amount of  pride and love he had for them could be felt by everyone.

Surviving Ron are his beloved children,  William R. Enos and his wife Kristen of Ft. Riley, KS, and Virginia E. Pond and her husband Shawn of Raymond, NH; his grandchildren, Roman, Andrew, Jonathan, Owen, Wesley, and Holly; his siblings, John Enos and his wife Kathy of Salem, NH, and David Enos and his wife Nancy of Jacksonville, FL; his two sisters-in-law, Ann Enos of Seekonk, MA and Barbara Enos of PA, as well as many other dear nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Ron was a loving brother of the late Linda L. Enos who passed in 2018, Daryl B. Enos who passed in 2020, and Steven J. Enos who passed in 2021.

Visiting hours will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn Street, Burlington on Saturday, January 6th from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m.  Burial will take place at a later date.
