Obituary of Beverley Anne Jones
Beverley Anne (Feeney) Jones, 82, of Tewksbury, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2025, at Lowell General Hospital, Lowell. She was the loving wife of Thomas Jones for 59 wonderful years.
Bev was born in Boston, the daughter of the late Walter P. and Florence I. (Carter) Feeney. She was raised in Arlington and attended Arlington High School prior to moving to Burlington with her family. It was at Arlington High School where she met the love of her life, Thomas F. Jones. The two started dating and were married on October 23, 1965. She worked for a brief time at 1st National Stores in Burlington prior to starting her family. For many years, Bev made a warm and loving home not only for her husband but for her three children as well.
Bev enjoyed time with friends and family as well as volunteering at the Tewksbury Senior Center. She was a great cook and loved to make special deliveries to loved ones of things they enjoyed. Her pride and joy were her two grandchildren Colin and Laci, who affectionately referred to her as “Nana Bev”. She spent most of her summers in Sebago enjoying the lake, family and friends. Bev was happiest when making others laugh. Her sense of humor was unsurpassed. She had a heart of gold and would always make sure everyone in her presence was included and important.
Bev is survived by her loving husband Thomas F. Jones of Tewksbury, their adoring children, Karen Stephens and her husband Gary of Powhatan VA, Robert Jones and his wife Lisa of Merrimack NH., and Thomas Jones Jr, of Billerica and his partner Kathy Halko, her siblings, Janice Heintz and her husband Fred of Chester, NH, Archie Feeney and his wife Mary of Burlington, Kathleen Pace of Sandown, NH, and James Feeney and his wife Susan of Venice FL., Roxanne Feeney wife of Late Joseph Feeney of Clinton, CT, two grandchildren, Colin Jones and Laci Jones as well as many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Funeral Mass on February 17 at 11:30 at St. Williams Church, 1351 Main St, Tewksbury. Interment will be private and at the convenience of her family. Arrangements are by the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St. Burlington.
