Obituary of Anthony Peter D'Errico

Anthony Peter D’Errico, a member of Laborers Union, Local 22 passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025.  He was 35 years old.  Anthony was born in Winchester.  He grew up in Burlington, Bedford, and Billerica.  As a youth, he played pop warner football, baseball and wrestled.  He attended Shawsheen Valley Technical High School.  He worked as a landscaper, and for Mystic Motor Trans before joining the Laborers Union Local 22.  He worked all over Massachusetts but mostly in Boston.

Anthony was always a kid at heart.  He loved skateboarding, paint ball, and especially gaming.  His favorite was Fortnite.  He was a fun father playing with his sons at the trampoline park, playing Santa at Christmas, dressing up at Halloween and as Mickey Mouse for the boy’s birthday party.  He even taught them video games and occasionally let them win.  There were also many wonderful family memories of vacationing on Cape Cod and Lake Winnipesaukee.

Anthony was the beloved father of Anthony Peter D’Errico, Jr. and Daniel Patrick D’Errico.  He was predeceased by his longtime partner and mother of his boys, Samantha Swanson.  The loving son of Charlene (Daly) Zannini & her husband Richard of Seabrook, NH and John D’Errico & his wife Kathy of Billerica and a beloved stepson of James Svenson of Billerica MA.  He was the loving brother of John D’Errico of Billerica, Shannon Svenson and her partner Joshua Chalifour of Chester, NH, and Kalyn D’Errico of Billerica.  The loving uncle of Weston Chalifour. He was also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visiting hours will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn Street, Burlington on Monday, March 3 from 4 to 6:30 p.m.  The evening will end with a funeral service at the funeral home at 6:30 p.m.   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a Go Fund Me to help secure a bright future for Anthony Jr. and Daniel at  https://gofund.me/98f955ab
