Palvinder Singh, 55, passed away suddenly on Monday, June 9, 2025.

Palvinder Singh Tamber was born in Sujjon, District Nawanshahr, Punjab, India. He was one of three sons born to Sucha Singh and Surinder Kaur. Originally from the Sauna, he grew up in Balachaur, and later earned his master’s degree from Punjabi University in Patiala.

In pursuit of a better life for his family, Palvinder immigrated to the United States in 2001, selflessly sacrificing his career in India as a cop for the future of his children. The family initially settled in Somerville before making their home in Billerica ten years ago.

He took great pride in his children's achievements, especially their success in higher education. His quiet strength, dedication, resilience, and love for his family will be deeply missed. He always said no job is big or small, and found joy in doing the smallest tasks and believed in living your life to the fullest.

Palvinder was the beloved husband of Kulwant Kaur for 30 years. He was the very proud father of Simranpeet Kaur and Manpreet Singh. He was the brother of Amrik Singh and the late Malkit Singh. He was also survived by caring brother and sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

A visitation and prayer service will be held at the Edward V Sullivan Funeral Home, www.sullivanfuneralhome.net, 43 Winn St., Burlington on Monday June 16 from 9 am to 11:30 am and will end with cremation prayers at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, www.puritanlawn.com, 185 Lake Street, Peabody.
