Len and I were close for over 76 years - From riding our bikes to school together in the 4th grade to our time together at Miami High and then at Georgia Tech as roommates. Lots of great memories. We both loved practically everything with a motor. I remember Len’s Cushman motor scooter and all his cars up to current times. His Mom and Dad treated me as another member of the family as did his brother John and sister Marie. He and Judy visited with us everywhere we lived from Florida to Washington State and we in turn to their homes. I always felt that he was more a brother than a friend because we had so much in common and we were bound together by our love of family (and cars). We shared marriages, births, and deaths and I can’t think of a major event when Len was not with me in person or spirit. I am so grateful to have had Len in my life; that one person you could count on for anything- who would always be there for you. Rest in peace my dear friend.

I've known Len for some time. Met up with him at Austin Healey Club gatherings, travel together to NY for Healey pick up, helped fix his car. Always in my memory but too far away. He will always be in my prayers. GOD bless him, and family.

I have fond memories of my cousin Len, especially when our two families were growing up in Miami. I have great memories going to my aunt and uncles house and I would see Len, Marie, and Denise. John was already gone in serving our country. My aunt Amy would always provide some Italian food for me at the kitchen table if I just came over with my dad. Conversations were in Italian between my aunt and uncle especially when things may have gotten a little heated. Our families were very close. I am glad I was able to speak with Len in his final days. I know he was sparked when we talked about his Porsche when he was going to college. We talked about our family histories...Cannizzaro and Paulicelli. Len was so excited to talk about my dad as he was a brother to him, John and Marie. I know that Len truly missed us over the years as did I because of distance. I am grateful that Len was able to share family memories and history to me in the past and with his call with me. I know it made us both feel good to reminisce. To my second cousins Andrea, Carla, and Denise...I know the years were somehow brought closer together when we spoke. I truly feel your sorrow and pray that God will comfort all of you. All of us will always have good memories of your father and the entire Cannizzaro family. God bless you and your families.

Andrea and Carla, your dad was like a second dad to me growing up I was over there so much. He always had a smile and was so friendly and kind to my family. Every year walking to the bus stop he always had that video camera ready to capture us on the first day of school. I have a lot of great times and memories with your family. Even going to Nantucket on vacation one year with your family. It has been a joy to see him love being involved with his grandchildren and I was blessed to see him a couple a months ago. He was as kind and friendly as always and wanting to know how everyone in my family was doing. Sending thoughts, prayers and hugs to you and your families.

To Andrea and Carla, I am sorry your dad has passed. As his cousin Paul son of Paul Paulicelli Sr. we have known each other all our lives. Unfortunately, due to distance we lost contact with each other for many years. However quite a few years ago we started communicating with each other as we both fought Prostate cancer and beat it. We also compared notes on my side of the family. Including lots of laughs from our days in Brockton and Miami. We spoke often and I enjoyed our talks very much. He sent my brother and I information about our family which I appreciated very much. Your dad was a standup man with great moral character, and a one who could always be counted on. May you both know that he is at peace and your many memories of a great father give you comfort.

Len was my stand-in father, big brother and friend. He was always there for my mother (his sister) and I as long as I can remember. We especially became close when I moved to New England to attend Rhode Island School of Design. He helped me move in and out of dorms, picked me up for all holiday celebrations at his and Judy’s home and was my go-to words of wisdom in times of need. I was god mother to Carla, his eldest and big sister to both she and Andrea. I worked in his Burger King’s during summer breaks from college as well as lived with the family between divorces! No matter where my life took me, Len was always there for me. He gave me away at my wedding in Bermuda to Trevor (picture of us dancing on the beach) just after the ceremony.
A wedding he wasn’t quite sure of, as Trevor is much younger than I and I remember him saying “what’s he want with you” and I said “I’m no chopped liver-i’m considered a catch!” It took him a little while to realize it was a great match. Anyway….
I will miss him immensely, treasure my memories with him and know he will always be watching out for me. See you one day over the rainbow Love you Len ❤️

Len was one of the eight original members that met and formed the classic Porsche Club TYP356 Northeast in 1998. I have personally known all but two of those founding members since I joined the Club in 2007. All of them were or are outstanding individuals. However, of all of them, Len was by far my best friend. I can definitely say this Club would be nothing like what it is today without Len. Len served on the Board of Directors of this Club for many years. He arranged for all of our annual Club planning meetings for years. In 2010 and 2011 he personally organized the best attended and nicest Holiday Parties this Club has ever held. There were 100 Club members that attended that first 2010 Holiday Party that Len organized. He had a quartet of Boston Symphony Orchestra musicians play that got many of us out onto the dance floor. We have never come close to having an event that large since. Len was always working tirelessly behind the scenes for this Club. Len directly assisted me in buying my first classic Porsche. Many Club members learned about the many fine cars Len owned when he was kind enough to share his memories of those cars with us at Club Day. In short, everyone at least liked and most loved Len. He is truly one of the kindest, most generous, well organized, smartest and funniest people I have ever known. There was not a single time I talked to Len that he did not tell me a new fascinating story about his life.
Len certainly led a life very well lived. We have lost a great man. The Porsche Club TYP356ne will definitely not be the same without him. Allen Sisson, President TYP356ne
