Evelyn Louise (Miller) Hunsley, 93, of Loveland, CO passed away peacefully on September 2.

The daughter of the late Robert and Goldie Miller, Evelyn was born into a close-knit family, Evelyn carried with her fond memories of childhood playing in the snow, cooling off on summer days at the local swimming hole, and lending a hand to her father as he made deliveries along his egg route.

In 1950 she married Lindell Hunsley, and Evelyn’s path led her to the life of a Navy wife, a role she embraced with grace and adaptability. Raising a large family while navigating the demands of a Navy life was no small feat.  Her home was filled with love, laughter, and the occasional chaos that comes with raising five children.  She loved playing the piano and taking walks with her beloved dogs.

She is survived by her adult children, Linda of Loveland, CO., Dana of Panacea, FL., Holley of Gainesville, Ga., Brian of Warrenton, VA., and David of Seattle, WA..  She was a proud grandmother of nine, great grandmother of eight and great-great grandmother of one. Her surviving siblings are Barbara, William and Joyce as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service on Tuesday, September 23 at 10AM at the United Church of Christ Congregational Church, 6 Lexington St. Burlington MA 01803.
