Paul Mac from way back. So sorry I lost touch with you. Paul turned me on to Jimi Hendrix, and brought me to see him perform Live. He also brought me to Harvad Square in Cambridge on Sunday's to the fee concerts.

Paul was a great guy I always enjoyed running into him and laughing over high school and lifes memories! We played little league baseball together and he was a hell of a catcher!

God Bless Paul . I remember Paul as the kindest kid in school growing up . He was certainly one of the “ cool kids “ in my eyes and the fact that he treated me as an equal certainly lifted my self esteem . He actually came to my house one morning , 84 Peach Orchard Rd , before double sessions to hang out with just me ! We threw the football around and had a great time . That day at school I stood a little taller . I also remember how he “ rose to stardom “ with the girls the day after the Beatles were on Ed Sullivan . “Paul McCartney” … “Paul McCarthy” …close enough ! He use to call me Hineso Footso because I could kick a football pretty far . As I sit here writing this I am crying as I am smiling . Paul , rest easy my friend . I Love You .

My condolences to the McCarthy family. I haven’t seen Paul in decades but back when we were young teenagers he and I played together in a number of local bands. Paul had a great singing voice, and I do remember that he really excelled on some of the Doors material that we would do. He was a passionate singer and a fun band mate. Rest in peace, Paul.

My condolences to all of his family and friends. This is a very sad loss. I knew Paul for many years. We grew up together on Ardmore Ave. I have many memories of fun and times together when we were kids. He was a great person.
