Teresa H. Daniels, age 83, passed away peacefully at her home in Burlington on Friday, December 5, 2025, with her loving family by her side.
Born and raised in Dublin, Ireland on November 24, 1942, she was one of eight children of the late William and Anne Brady Healy. She attended Catholic school, where she formed the skills and values that guided her throughout her life.
After moving to America and later becoming a proud citizen, Teresa devoted herself to working hard and providing an exceptional life for her children. Watching them become caring, hardworking, and kind-hearted adults brought her immeasurable pride. When she later became a grandmother, she stepped into her role as “Ninny” with pride and tenderness, filling her home with warmth, laughter, and endless love. Her happiest moments were those spent with her grandchildren.
In her free time, Teresa loved to learn and nurture her many hobbies. Her passion for gardening was evident in the beautiful, carefully tended garden that filled her home with fruits, vegetables, and colorful flowers. She also found great joy in cooking and baking, often expressing her love by spoiling those closest to her with her cherished dishes and treats. Teresa could almost always be found with her knitting needles in hand, using wools and buttons to create authentic Irish sweaters for her loved ones. Above all, Teresa will be remembered for her resilient, can-do attitude, her thoughtful and compassionate spirit, and the unconditional love she had for her family and friends.
Teresa was the loving mother of the late Harry “Joe” Daniels, Jr., who passed away in September of 1996, with whom she shared an exceptionally close bond. Though separated by loss, he remained present in her heart and thoughts every day of her life.
She is survived by her adoring daughter, Kellie Daniels-Greene and her husband, Barry Greene, of Burlington, who lovingly and tirelessly cared for her in recent years, Tina Pacheco (Marrama) and her husband, Victor Pacheco, of Tewksbury; Meghan O’Brien-Mercier and her husband, Jassen Mercier, of Burlington; her cherished grandchildren, Kelsey Daniels-O’Brien, Madison Greene, Victor Pacheco, Joseph Greene, Jack Mercier, and Richard Pacheco; as well as many beloved relatives in Ireland.
She is predeceased by her loving siblings Anthony, Andrew, and Patrick Healey
At the request of the family, all services for Teresa will be held privately. As an expression of sympathy, in place of flowers, donations in her honor may be made to St. Jude’s Hospital, https://www.stjude.org
