Keri Ann Riley Obituary
Keri Ann (Brennan) Riley was a dedicated wife and mother of three. She passed away unexpectedly on January 20th, 2026. Keri will be remembered as a smart, selfless, and kind woman who loved her family and friends unconditionally.
Keri was the loving wife of Ronald Riley for 27 years. They met in kindergarten, began dating in college, and got married in 1998. They started a beautiful and loving family together, making Keri the proud mother of Shea, Keira, and Brennan Riley, her greatest joy and her whole world.
Keri was the youngest daughter of the late Baraba Brennan. A lifelong resident of Burlington, she grew up on Rocky Hill Road, where she was a beloved member of the neighborhood community, and attended Fox Hill Elementary School, where she would meet her future husband. Keri graduated from Burlington High School in 1990 and received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and English from Seton Hall University in New Jersey.
Keri loved being a member of the Burlington community and chose to raise her family there as well. Keri and Ron purchased their first home on Sumpter Road, where they raised their three children, until they outgrew it and moved to Oxbow Lane. Keri loved their new home, always welcoming people to hang out, watch sports, or sit by the pool.
Keri was an involved mother, continuously showing up for her children. From childhood recitals to college competitions, she was there to support Shea. She was the loudest supporter at Keira’s volleyball tournaments and was Brennan's number one fan at baseball games. Keri truly wanted the best for her children. She pushed them to pursue their education, follow their passions, and live their lives to the fullest. Her motto was “get busy living.” All she ever wanted was to see her children happy.
Keri’s passion in life was learning. She wanted to know everything and was the smartest person in the room. Keri knew exactly where to be for a game of trivia on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Jeopardy! was on every night in the house. If somebody didn’t know something, they would ask Keri. Whether it was sports, music, movies, history, or anything in pop culture, every topic was her specialty.
Keri cherished her time spent with family. Summers were spent on Cape Cod, and nearly every year included a family trip to the Bahamas. She was happiest when she was in the sun. As an avid sports fan, she was on a mission to visit as many baseball parks as possible, traveling to Camden Yards, Wrigley Field, Yankee Stadium, Rogers Centre, and of course, Fenway Park. She created countless memories that her family will hold close forever.
Keri was a talented recruiter, working at Google, Roku, and VMware throughout her career. As a devoted Patriots fan, she was especially proud of her time spent working for the Kraft Group. Keri loved working with people, and her extroverted, welcoming personality made her both successful and well-loved in the office.
Keri’s sudden passing is difficult to accept. Anyone who knew Keri knew that she was everyone's biggest cheerleader, overwhelmingly supportive, and always had your back. She was witty, empathetic, and truly brilliant. Above all, Keri was the best mother. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Keri was the loving wife of Ronald Riley and the proud mother of Shea, Keira, and Brennan Riley. She was the sister of Kim Armstrong. She was the daughter-in-law of Ronald and Jane Riley, and the sister-in-law of Brian Riley and his partner, Jaclyn Jordan. She was the aunt of Lindsey and Matthew Armstrong, and is loved and survived by many other friends.
