I am so deeply sorry for the loss of dear Brenda.
It feels as though I have known her all my life, though in truth our friendship began just 12 short years ago when we joined the Blue Water Sailing Club. In that time, she became someone who was simply always there — for the fun times, the work times, and all the in-between moments that truly shape a friendship.
I will always treasure the memories of skiing together in Steamboat — Vince and Brenda alongside Teresa, Ron, Tyler and Eliza, Mark, and me. Those days were filled with laughter, shared stories, card games and the easy joy that Brenda carried so naturally. She had a way of making every gathering warmer, every effort lighter, and every experience richer. Even boat launching was a fun friend and family affair. She will always be a wonderful memory that I will hold in my heart forever.
Her presence in our lives was a gift. I am grateful beyond words for the time we had with her, and I will carry her spirit with me — on the slopes, on the water, and in the quiet moments when I think of the friend who was always there.
With love and heartfelt sympathy.

Brenda and the Nyhan's lived down the street from us. We knew each other growing up and through high school. Our class of 1971 senior trip went to Quebec. For some reason I was the only one of my friends who went, so it was a long bus ride to Canada. That was then Brenda and I found each other. We bombed around the narrows streets of Quebec City going to art galleries and markets while our classmates partied. And we shared a wonderful long bus ride home. We reconnected again at one of the later class reunions. Her extraordinary warmth is what I remember most. My condolences to her sister, Vincent Senior, Vincent Junior and all her family.

Brenda was always looking out for me when I bought my first home she organized a painting crew to dry lock my basement. When she was going to travel to Scotland and Japan and Greece and England (well you get the idea) she'd ask if I wanted to go along -heck yeah! When she wanted to go left and Vin Sr wanted to go right I had her back and we would go left! When she wanted to get a card game going I would round up the groups and we'd play. She was a key part of my life and I will miss her happy smiling soul.
