I am very sorry about the passing of Robert. I met him back in September of 1990 on the school bus heading to the swimming program the after school program for people with disabilities of grade school and middle school age students. When I first met him he was asking the whole school bus who likes the new kids on the block?. And some raise there hands but I did not for some strange reasoning. Back then I was not that talkative about the new kids on the block back then. But I liked them. Also I went to bc friendship day with him. Bc friendship was a event held by the Boston college students that people with disabilities met and had a boston college student to be with them the whole day at there gym with so many events at the gym. One year we played basketball me robert and some boston college volunteers and he played basketball really really well like shooting hoops more further did I did and had more shots then me. He was good oh so good. Well another memories I have of robert is when we did swimming races at swimming with some other people he was the coach and when I won the swimming race he said the winner is nick. And that made me feel so good he said that. I was also happy replacing robert at lexington ace hardware as a labbb student he robert had another job he worked at. And robert was proud of me that I got the job at lexington ace hardware when I used to live in massachusetts but don't live there anymore. Well rip robert rip.

I will always love and admire Robert for his motivation and determination to overcome some childhood health issues and live a normal life like everyone else. He always loved spending time with his relatives and friends, and especially loved just hanging out with his dad. His big smile and love for life was inspiring. You’ll be missed Robert, but you’ll always be in the hearts and minds of those who loved you. -Jim
