Helen (Cabral) Fram, age 94, passed away suddenly at Lahey Hospital on Monday, February 23. She was the beloved wife of the late Walter G. Fram, with whom she had shared over 27 years of marriage prior to his passing.

Born in Cambridge, MA on June 11, 1931, she was one of two children to the late Alfred Cabral, Sr. and Hortence (Couto) Cabral. Heler graduated from Cambridge High School and moved to Burlington with her family shortly after. Her family had purchased some farmland that they turned into Cabral Farms and Eggs. It didn't take long before Helen could confidently call Burlington her "forever home" after settling into her house.

While raising her children, Helen was a loving and attentive stay-at-home mother. She was always supportive and present for all of her children's achievements and hardships throughout their lives. When her children were grown though, Helen jumped right back into the workforce-she even kept a part time job at Whole Foods well into her 70's to stay busy. In her free time, Helen loved settling down with one of her many projects. Whether she was knitting, sewing, quilting, or painting, she was incredibly crafty and talented in just about anything she tried her hand at. She also enjoyed sunny days in her yard tending to her beautiful garden and enjoying the many flowers she grew. More than anything, Helen will be remembered for her kindness, carefree nature, and her deep devotion to the people she loved most in life.

Surviving Helen are her two adoring children, Don Fram of Burlington, and Carol Cabral-Fram and her partner Walter DeCost of Burlington. She was also the loving sister of the late Alfred Cabral, Jr.
