Mary C. Willis Obituary
Mary (Tocci) Willis of Woburn passed away on Thursday, April 2, surrounded by her loved ones.
She was 88 years old.
Mary was raised in Watertown along with six siblings before moving to Woburn with her husband Chuck. The couple raised three children, Charlie, Maureen and Peggy.
Mary spent the last four years of her life at Benchmark Senior Living in Woburn where she was a popular member of the community.
Mary worked for many years as a secretary and administrative assistant at Lockheed Martin, a premier global aerospace and defense company and top US federal contractor.
For more than 40 years Mary spent summers down the Cape at her home in Onset. There, she enjoyed many days on the beach with her family.
After her career ended, Mary stayed active with many hobbies including golf, candlepin bowling and cooking her famous spaghetti sauce. She also enjoyed dining out (never passing up a chance to try a yummy dessert) and cheering on the Boston Bruins and Boston Red Sox.
Mary also had a passion for helping others and could often be found lending a hand to neighbors and friends alike in a variety of ways.
Her beloved husband Chuck died in 1994 and her son Charlie passed away after a battle with cancer in 2001.
Mary is survived by her daughters Maureen Willis of Woburn and Peggy Adams of Woburn, her granddaughter Heather LaFauci and her great granddaughter Scarlett.
Mary is also survived by her brother George Tocci and his wife Mary and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral home service at 11 AM on Tuesday April 7th at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., Burlington. Burial will be private.
