As president of the Burlington Sons of Italy I always enjoyed having Dolly as my lodge secretary. She was always pleasant and efficient and added much to our organization through her positive attitude and enthusiasm. I'll especially miss Dolly and our ongoing friendly feud over her love for the Red Sox and mine for the Yankees. We teased each other incessantly and she loved the competition.
In the past year Dolly withdrew from attending our monthly meetings due to her ailing health and we missed her smiling face. I visited with her at Christmas and she asked me to remember her to all our members, considerate to the end. She will be sorely missed. May God watch over Dolly, a genuinely lovely human being.
