Obituary of Michael Joseph Santoro
Michael Joseph Santoro, worked as a salesman, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 3, 2016. He was 52 years old.
Michael was a lifelong resident of Burlington. He was a 1982 graduate of Burlington High School and then earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Lowell. He was a talented salesperson who had the ability to connect with his customers and help guide them to the best choices of products and services. He had worked at Northern Air Conditioning and Heating in Burlington, U.S. Oil, Gulf Oil, and was currently with R.C.H. where he was a top sales producer for the company.
Michael was a person who was meticulous in how he worked lived. He enjoyed working on small engines, lawnmowers, and snow blowers. He wouldn’t just repair something; he would thoroughly clean the equipment and if possible even put a coat of wax on it as well. He loved cars and would spend hours cleaning them. His prize possession was a 1994 Harley Davidson motorcycle which he bought new and after 12 years still looks like it had just come out of the showroom. It was hard to decide whether he enjoyed riding or detailing the motorcycle more. He was a strong believer in physical fitness. He worked out regularly with a trainer and could be seen all around town walking. He had traveled to Florida and on cruises, but much more preferred to be at home with family and friends. He had two cats, Lucy and Charlie, who he pampered and doted on. Michael was a type of person who couldn’t sit still. He needed to be on the go, working with his hands, or reaching out to family friends, and clients.
Michael was the loving son Joyce (Bontempo) and Joseph Santoro of Burlington. He was the brother of Jeannine Esposito & her husband Ronald of Burlington. Michael was the proud uncle of Brianna, Courtney, and R.J. Esposito. He was the nephew of Barbara Bontempo of Malden, Ronald and Paula Bontempo of Waltham, Richard and Sally Bontempo of Seabrook, NH, Ellen Santoro of Billerica, and late Dominic Santoro. He was also survived by many cousins and friends.
