Obituary of Anthony Richard DiMinico

Anthony Richard DiMinico, passed away unexpectedly at the Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge on Tuesday, April 5, 2016. He was 63 years old. Anthony was born, raised and educated in Somerville. He was the son of Anna DiMinico of Somerville and the late Anthony. Anthony had a successful career working as a Systems Analyst at in the IT Department at Loomis Sayles in Boston. He worked there over 20 years and made many friendships throughout the years. It was a job that he loved and took pride in. Anthony was proud of his Italian Heritage. Like his grandfather before him Anthony loved to cook with Italian food being his specialty. He enjoyed to hang with his friends at the South End Italian Club. He enjoyed a good game of darts, pool and bowling. Anthony was blessed to have two grandchildren that brought him great joy. Anthony was the beloved father of Jennifer Mason & her husband Bradley of Billerica. Grandfather of Shelby & Griffin. Son of Anna DiMinico of Somerville and the late Anthony. Anthony is survived by his aunts Susan Strazzere of Woburn and Jennie Palange of Millis. He is also survived by many cousins and friends. A visitation will be held at the Edward V Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Friday April 8 from 4-7:30 PM Concluding with Funeral Services at 7:30 PM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorials in Anthony’s name may be made to American Diabetes Association, 10 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701
