I’m curious as well as other friends that knew him in Korea as to how Adam passed .. I’m sorry if this is too personal a question and don’t mean to offend .. There’s some good guys that are thinking about Adam still.. Thank you ..

I was thinking about Adam today and went to go look him up .. Shocked me when I found out he is gone.. Makes me Very sad. .. 4/19/2222 I’ve thought about him through the years, all the laughs we had .. We met at MEPS in Boston and we’re together through basic AIT and Korea .. he was one of my great friends ..He was the funniest guy in the barracks .. Usually the easiest guy to be around .. He used to call me yrwom, he was mahgnillig, our names spelled backwards .. I’m pretty sure that was a Gillingham thing .. He was funny like That , from his velociraptor impression to his other comedy.. it was all natural for him .. We used to chase Each other around the UCC In Korea at night in wheel chairs in the dark .. I think about these awesome memories and I’m sorry I didn’t reach out sooner .. I’ll always remember Gill … It always makes me smile when I think about him .. I can say without any shame that I loved this man .. what a solid person .. Sorry he is gone …

Our hearts are broken with the loss of Adam. He was a sweet and loving man! Adam and Kim were a great match and they produced two wonderful boys! We feel so fortunate to have met Adam and although we didn't get to spend a lot of time with him, he was always so generous and kind. Our heartfelt sorrow goes out to the Gillingham and Everett families along with all who ever crossed paths with Adam. Hugs to you all! Love, Aunt Debbie, Uncle Dave, Danny, Linda, and Greg Kommel

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Gillingham and Whitaker family at this time. I'm so sorry for your loss. I have so many memories of Adam and all of the good times we all had as kids. He's with his mom and his buppa now. He made his buppa so proud when he joined the army, he put army stickers all over his truck to show support for his grandson. May you rest in peace Adam.

To the whole Gillingham clan Bob, Nathan, Meryl, Jesse and Kim, I offer my deepest condolences. I hadn't spoken with Adam in many years, we lost touch over time as our lives lead different paths. I will never forget all the great experiences, and times I had with Adam. From attending Spirit league soccer with you all watching and cheering on Adam, to crashing in his and Nathans room for the weekend when me and my parents didn't see eye to eye. Adam and your family have always been there for me growing up and I will never forget that. He always had a way of making me laugh and taking my mind off of things when I was low and needed to be cheered up. I would like to think I was there for him in turn, although he never really needed to much cheering up. Even though we were different in many ways we still gravitated towards each other in high school and became close friends. He was a soccer player, I was a dumb football player. He liked Sublime and Bob Marley, I liked to listen to techno, but despite all these differences we became great friends. I always thought we would be able to pick up where we left off some day. He could tell me all about his new life and family, and we could reminisce about old times. It saddens me that we will never have that opportunity. I am truly sorry for your loss. Take comfort in the fact Sharon has somebody to yell at and keep her company up in Heaven.
Love and Prayers Nick.
