Obituary of MaryAnn S. Pelrine

MaryAnn Sophie Pelrine, a 54 year resident of Burlington, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday morning, May 2, 2016, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. She was 76 years old. MaryAnn was born in Cambridge, the daughter of the late Charles and Felecia McCarron. She grew up in Somerville and was a 1957 graduate of Somerville High School. She was outgoing, personal, and very stylish so she gravitated to careers involving interaction with people. She worked as a Receptionist at Alpha Software, Choate Hospital and Oak Technologies in Woburn. She had also worked as an operator at Burlington Answering Service. MaryAnn was destined to have four girls. She was encouraging, nurturing, fun, and as time went by sometimes more like a girlfriend than a mother. She loved to travel especially to warm destinations. She visited Italy, the Bahamas, Aruba, Las Vegas, Greece, Cape Cod and York Beach with her family and friends. She was a regular guest on the Norwegian Cruise Line and was fortunate to have gone on her last cruise to the Eastern Caribbean this past October. She had a great appreciation for the theater and was an avid member and supporter of the North Shore Music Theater in Beverly. She loved cooking, being outdoors, working around her yard, and her many flower gardens. Her family always came first and nothing made her more happy than she was with her family at gatherings, holidays, celebrations, or any occasion or event involving her children and grandchildren. She embraced life, taught her girls to reach for their dreams and have fun as you try, and did all this with her own special grace and style . MaryAnn was the wife of William J. Pelrine of Medford. Loving mother of Doreen LoPardo & her fiancé Stephen O’Keefe of Woburn, Brenda Hillier & her husband Steven of Stockbridge VT, Sharon Pease & her husband Robert of North Billerica and Janice Pelrine of North Chelmsford. Sister of Margie Dognazzi & her husband Tom of Norwood, the late Judy Forster, Michael McCarron & Kathleen Ivy. Sister-in-law & Best Friend of the late Janet McCarron.
