Obituary of Patricia Kenney

Patricia Ann (Spencer) Kenney passed away at the Golden Living Center in West Newton, on Saturday evening, February 18, 2012. The wife of the late Gerald P. Kenney who she married in 1960, she was 75 years old. Patricia was born in Lexington. She was the daughter of the late Richard and Thelma Spencer. She was a graduate of Lexington High School Class of 1955 and went on to Chamberlain School of Retailing in Boston Class of 1956. Patricia worked at a number of retail stores in New England. Most recently she worked for Fabric Place as Store Manager in Woburn Ma. Patricia was an accomplished artist, working in watercolor, pastel and pen & ink. Patricia was the beloved wife of the late Gerald P. Kenney. She was the loving mother of Gerald P. Kenney, Jr. of Frisco TX., Mark J. Kenney of Chester VT & Richard E. Kenney of Bellingham. Also survived by 10 grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Brigid Church, 2001 Massachsuetts Ave., Lexington on Friday, Feb. 24 at 11 a.m. Relatives & Friends Respectfully invited to attend. Interment in Westview Cemetery, Lexington. Memorials in Patricia’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Massachusetts Chapter, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.
