Obituary of David Fitch
David Earl Fitch passed away after a long illness on Friday morning, June 10, 2016. He was only 60 years old. David was born in Winchester, the son of the late Raymond and Myra Fitch. He grew up and was educated in Burlington. He then spent most of his adult years living in Burlington as well. He was the former owner of Middlesex Glass in Burlington. He was a past member of the Simonds Lodge of the Masons in Burlington. He loved to travel, especially to warm destinations like the Bahamas, Aruba, Las Vegas, and Florida. He loved working on cars and motorcycles and was always there to help a family member or friend when they had a mechanical problem. He also liked collecting stamps and coins. He also enjoyed being a picker, spending his time on the hunt for treasures and collectibles at yard sales, flea markets and on the road. He also enjoyed testing his luck at the casino. His favorite restaurant was the Billerica 99, where he enjoyed the good food, patrons and staff.
David was the father of Mindy Simard & her husband Henry of Billerica, Britt Fitch & his wife Lauren of Malden, and Jason Fitch of Lowell. He was the brother of Daniel Fitch & his wife Arlene of North Port, FL, CarolAnn Wagstaff & her husband Bernie of Wilmington, April Graffeo & her husband Michael of Lynnfield, and Joanne Fitch of Winchendon, MA. He was also the grandfather of Kylie Fitch . He was also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
David’s funeral services will be private.
