Obituary of Carla McNulty

Carla (Davis McNulty) 48, passed away February 18 surrounded by family and friends. She fought a courageous battle after a lengthy illnessShe is preceded in death by her son Justin, father George M. Davis, father-in-law Joseph McNulty and sister-in-law Vicky. Carla grew up in Burlington MA and graduated from BHS. She pursued a degree in fashion design from Mount Ida College. Carla worked for Carter’s and Alps Sportswear as a Technical Designer. She married Tom McNulty, her devoted husband of 27 years. Together they raised their son Justin in Londonderry NH. After moving to Florida she was employed by Chico’s. Along with her incredible strength and talent she loved her work and cherished the friendship of her extended family of coworkers. Her hands were never idle. Carla’s endless creativity and love of all things beautiful was evident in everything she touched. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, home decorating, jewelry and card making. Her passion and love for family and dear friends will be remembered in all the handmade gifts and cards she lovingly designed and created. Carla leaves her beloved husband Thomas L., mother, Nancy E. Davis of Burlington, loving sister to Richard Davis of Littleton MA, George Davis and Ross Davis both of Burlington, Alysa Johnson of Woburn and Pamela Meehan of Burlington. A cherished daughter-in-law to Marie McNulty of Ft. Myers FL, sister-in-law to Robin Gibson of Meredith NH, Ronald McNulty of Andover, Edward McNulty of Hudson NH, Mark McNulty of Ft. Myers FL, David McNulty of Naples FL., loving sister-in-law and auntie to many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at the United Church of Christ Congregational, 6 Lexington St., Burlington on Friday, March 2 at 12:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Pine Haven Cemetery, Burlington. Visiting hours will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., Burlington (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Thursday March 1 from 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Carla’s name may be made to Nashua Children's Home, Attn: Dave, 125 Amherst Street, Nashua, NH 03064, www.nashuachildrenshome.org
