Obituary of Dorothy Alice Wolfram
Dorothy Alice (Caruso) Wolfram, a woman who was devoted to her family, passed away at her home with her family by her side on Sunday evening, October 16, 2016. The beloved wife of the late Richard Emil Wolfram who passed away in 2006, she was 79 years old.
Dotty was born in Cambridge. She was the daughter of the late Bernard and Julia Caruso. She was raised and educated in Cambridge and Belmont. Dotty and Dick moved to Burlington in 1965 where they would raise their two daughters. She worked for many years at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center as a Secretary to Dr. Wool in the Endocrinology Dept. She loved her job at Lahey. With her outgoing and caring personality Dotty was a perfect fit for her job at Lahey.
Dotty and Dick had a wonderful life together. They were married for 49 years prior to his passing in 2006. They loved to socialize with their friends and travel. Dotty and Dick took trips to Foxwoods and Las Vegas. They especially looked forward to their trips to California to visit with their daughter Diane and her husband Gary. They also enjoyed local trips to such destinations as Ogunquit Maine. Dotty’s greatest joy where her two daughters. She was a nurturing and supportive mother always involved in their activities growing up. Her home was always open to the girls and their friends. Dotty was most especially blessed to be a part of her granddaughter’s life Alex on a daily basis. She watched Alex grow into a beautiful young woman and couldn’t have been more proud.
Dotty was the beloved wife of the late Richard E. Loving mother of Diane Corey & her husband Gary of Wildomar, CA and Linda Panosian & her husband David of Burlington. Proud grandmother of Alex Panosian of Burlington. Sister of Denise (Henry) Clarke of North Caver. Aunt of Eric, Peter & Jen Clarke of North Caver, Steve Tauro & his wife Jackie of Burlington and John Tauro & his wife Debbie of Woburn. Also survived by additional nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral Services were private.
