Obituary of Henry John Penta
Henry “John” Penta, a resident of Billerica for 59 years, passed away at the Lahey Hospital & Medical Center on Monday morning, October 31, 2016. The beloved husband of 60 years to Josephine (Alfonso) he was 79 years old.
John was born in Boston. He was the son of the late Henry and Pompi Penta. He was raised and educated in Boston. John attended St. Joseph School in North End and then a Trade High School in Roxbury. He worked his entire career at ACME Printing retiring as a Foreman. John was a talented craftsman with carpentry being his specialty. He made all types of furniture and sheds. John was an extremely generous man always thinking of others. He was a loving husband, proud father and grandfather.
John was the beloved husband of Josephine (Alfonso). He was the loving father of Susan Penta of Pelham, NH, John Penta of Billerica, Diane Fielding of Billerica and Michelle Penta of Auburn, NH. He was the proud grandfather of Cory & Colin Penta, Dylan Fielding, Marina & Maya Daaboul and Gianni Penta. Memorial Services will be held at the Edward V Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., Burlington on Saturday, Nov. 5 at 11 a.m. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend. In lieu of flowers memorials in John’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
