Mooney Family, I am saddenned to hear of your loss! Although I will not be able to be there in person to support Matt, know that all of you are in my prayers at this difficult time. Matt's mom sounds like she was a wonderful women and although I never met her, it made me smile at how she leveraged her time for maximum enjoyment and impact! To each of the mooney children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren: Ellie was truly one of a kind. She opened her door to so many people with a smile, a hug, and always kind words. There is a sadness in the neighborhood. Another "pioneer" of St. Mary Road has left us. Ellie's ambition and fierce devotion to her family was a force to be reckoned with. She made the BEST potato salad and delivered it to many neighbors in their time of need or at a time of celebration. Her devotion to Jack and his devotion to her was a model to all the couples on the street. We are so very sad for Jack. But we know he will fill his time fulfilling the dreams and needs of his great kids and grandchildren. Rest In Peace Ellie job well done.
