Obituary of Deborah White

Deborah DelGrosso White, a woman devoted to her family, passed away peacefully on Christmas Day, December 25, 2016, surrounded by family at her bedside. She was 62 years old. Debbie as she was known was born in Medford, the only child to Michael and Carmella (Giusto) DelGrosso. She attended Medford Public Schools and Graduate from St. Clements High School, also in Medford. She earned an Associate’s Degree from Aquinas College in Newton, later studying at Boston State. She worked for several different companies in her early years as an executive assistant including US Glass Company in Boston, where she met her future husband Bob. Upon their marriage 37 years ago, they moved and bought their home in North Woburn and began their family. Debbie was deeply devoted to her family, always placing their happiness and wellbeing first. She was a kind, caring, loving and compassionate woman. A wonderful cook, she was known for preparing great feasts for family and friends. As her children got older and before she got ill, Debbie worked many part and full time jobs including DEC, Purity Supreme, Lahey Medical, C&W Transportation and Mac’s Landscaping. Debbie was the beloved wife of Robert F. White, Jr. Was the loving mother to Michael White and his wife Erin, Cara White, Christopher White and his friend Lena Nguyen, all of Woburn. She was the very proud Nana to Tristan and Landon. She was Godmother to Mia Long of Woburn. Debbie was predeceased by her close aunt and uncle, Michael and Katherine Tortorice. She is also survived by many cousins, relatives and great friends like Nancy LeBossiere of Saugus. Funeral from Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn Street., BURLINGTON (exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Friday, Dec. 30 at 9:00am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burialat St. Anthony’s Church, 851 Main Street, Woburn at 10:00am. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8pm. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Debbie’s honor to All Care Hospice, 210 Market Street, Lynn, MA 01901 or online at www.allcare.org/donate/.
