Obituary of Richard Hunt

Richard A. Hunt, a long-time resident of Burlington, passed away unexpectedly at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center on Monday morning, April 30, 2007. He was 54 years old. Richard was born in Winchester. He was the son of the late Earl and Margaret Hunt. He was raised and educated in Burlington and was a graduate of Burlington High School. Richard had a successful career as a Store Manager. He worked for over 20 years at Friendly Family Center in Central Square Cambridge, which later became Jax Liquidation Outlet. Richard was a hard workingman who was known to work 6 days a week. He enjoyed cooking and barbequing. Family was most important to Richard. He was a loving brother and a devoted uncle to his niece and nephews. He will be deeply missed by all those who loved him. Richard is the beloved son of the late Earl and Margaret Hunt. He is the loving brother of Robert Hunt, Karen Pelletier, Wayne Hunt all of Burlington and Susan Galleguillos of Tewksbury. He is the uncle of Jennifer Hunt, Richard Pelletier, Albert Galleguillos and Daniel Galleguillos. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Funeral Services at the United Church of Christ Congregational, 6 Lexington St., Burlington on Friday, May 4 at 11 a.m. Visiting hours will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLNGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Thursday from 6-8 p.m.
