Obituary of Katherine Johns
Katherine Theresa (Donnelly) Johns, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday morning, January 27, 2017. The beloved wife of the late Walter Johns, she was 76 years old.
Katherine was born in Boston. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Mary Donnelly. She was raised and educated in the Boston area. Katherine worked as a Bus Monitor for Special Needs Children. She was very dedicated to the children and loved to give them all the attention she could . She worked with a number of different schools in the north shore area throughout the years and enriched the lives of many children by showing them love and friendship .
Katherine and her husband Walter loved their retirement years together. They traveled throughout the United States. Their favorite destination was Florida where they lived for many years during their retirement. One of her favorite pastimes while living in Florida was Bass Fishing and Crabbing. Katherine had many other interests including playing bingo, listening to country music and doing puzzles. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Mother of Debra Bouvier and her husband Michael of Burlington, John DiRosa and his wife Margaret of Fall River, James DiRosa of Boston, Darlene Rivers and her husband Richard of Spencer, Robert Veazie and his wife Dawn of Fall River, William DiRosa and his wife Susan of Woburn, Paul DiRosa of Fall River, Mary Foley of Spring Hill, FL & Thomas Wasilewski and his wife Jessica of Bridgewater. Stepmother of Craig Johns and his wife Susan of Dunellen, FL and Anthony Johns and his wife Marie of VA. Sister of Margaret Cerasuolo of Seabrook, NH, Rose Donnelly of Haverhill & the late Joseph Donnelly. Grandmother of Jacquelyn McCaffery and her late husband John, Jason Veazie and his wife Noelle, Jared, Cameron & Jessica DiRosa, Michael Bouvier and his wife Amber, Joseph Botte and Corey & Kayla Wasilewski. Great Grandmother of Timothy, Mason, Jason, Kirsten, Kaelyn, Brayden, Kylie, Camden, Brooklyn, Noah & Jaylena. Also survived by many other Gandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces & Nephews.
Memorial mass will be held in Katherine's honor at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials in Katherine’s name may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472.
