Obituary of Kimberly Ann Fallano-Fucci

Kimberly “Kim” Ann Fallano-Fucci, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, February 6, 2017. She was only 51 years old. Kim was born in Everett and grew up in Malden. She was a graduate of Malden High School, Class of 1983. She had many wonderful memories growing up in Malden filled with family, friends, and classmates. She worked at Children’s Hospital as the office manager in the Neuro Surgery Department for many years. After having her children and wanting to spend more time with them, she worked as a private Home Health Care Provider working with senior clients. In both fields, Kim’s warmth and kindness always shined. Her clients always knew that Kim was there to help with their health issues and was a sympathetic person whom they could talk openly with. Kim had numerous circles of friends of the years. She had childhood friends, Malden High School friends, work friends, Burlington friends, and numerous other connections that united Kim with others. She had so many qualities and attributes that made her approachable. She was caring. She was loyal and trustworthy. The type of person whom you could go to with a problem and get honest advice and be confident to know what was shared was only between you and her. She was a great listener and always available for a friend. She was forgiving, understanding, direct, and nonjudgmental. If you were Kim’s friend, she was there for you to celebrate your triumphs and comfort you during your missteps. It was these many virtues that made Kim so loved and appreciated by so many. Kim had a number of hobbies and interests. She was bit of a movie buff. She loved going to the cinema to see the latest movies and was just as happy to stay at home and watch her favorite movies for the umpteenth time. She came from a family of excellent cooks. She possessed the cooking gene, but never enjoyed the cleaning up afterward. So if Kim had her choice, dinner out was her vote. She loved animals and was always taking in strays. Over the years, she had dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, rabbits, and any other creature that she saw in distress. She loved family vacations to Florida, Lake George, and her all-time favorite destination, Virginia Beach. Kim was so devoted to her family. She married her husband Joe in 1994 and they have shared so many wonderful years together. They did simple things and gestures like hugging every day to always remind each other of their devotion. She was a fun and supportive mother as well always encouraging her children to make friends, expand their comfort zone, and do their best. Her love for parents, siblings, and in-laws was unceasing and absolute. Before her passing on Monday, Kim spent Sunday night with her family cheering and celebrating together as the Patriots came back to win the Super Bowl. It was an unforgettable night and a memory that her family will cherish forever. Kim was the beloved wife of Joseph Fucci. Loving mother of Michael Joseph & Sandra Jean Fucci of Burlington. Daughter of Anthony Fallano of Albany, NH & Melbourne, FL and late Sandra Fallano. Sister of Anthony Fallano, III & his wife Maria and Kevin Fallano all of Malden.
