Obituary of Aguinaldo Margaca
Aguinaldo L. “Agi” Margaca, passed away at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center on Thursday, March 9, 2017. He was 66 years old.
Agi was born, raised and educated in Gafanha da Encarnação Portugal. He was the son of Rosa of Portugal and the late Manuel. In 1966 at the age of 16 Agi and his entire family came to the United States for a better life. He lived in South Boston and Dorchester when he first moved to the U. S. eventually purchasing a home in Burlington in 1973. Agi had already started a trade as a Jeweler in Portugal and continued when working in the United States. He opened his own business in the Jewelers Building on Washington St. in Boston where he worked for many years.
Agi was a quiet man who mostly kept to himself. He never had a bad word to say about anyone. He took a few trips back to Portugal over the years but mainly he was a homebody. He enjoyed fishing and walking his dogs around Horn Pond in Woburn. Agi was very blessed to have a wonderful brother, Emmanuel, and sister-in-law, Barbara who lovingly watched out for him and cared for him these last few years.
Agi was the beloved son of late Manuel and Rose. He was the loving brother of Emanuel & his wife Barbara. Proud uncle of Stephen of Walpole and Rachel Freiberg of Norton. A visitation will be held at the Edward V Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Thursday, March 16 from 11 – 12 p.m. Concluding with funeral services at Noon. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend.
